Our lovely Whipped Shea Butter for Lips features certified organic red raspberry seed oil. Red raspberry seed oil is high in Omega 3 & 6 fatty acids, and has impressive antioxidant activity.
It is also rich in vitamin E, which gives it exceptional skin nourishing and protective qualities.
Our organic Whipped Shea Butter for Lips contains nothing but Kperisi Village shea butter, sustainably-sourced beeswax and nourishing oils.
Beeswax is Nature's bandage. As an ingredient in our Whipped Shea Butter for Lips it helps protect delicate skin from damaging environmental effects, locks in moisture, and slows trans-epidermal water loss. It is a naturally nourishing moisturizer and a biologically active product. We love the warm golden scent and color of unbleached beeswax!

I used to loved this product but then the real vanilla ingredient changed to a vanilla “flavor” which I assume is made in a lab and likely has no real vanilla. I only recently bought this again because online the ingredient is listed as organic vanilla. I was excited that they went back to a real vanilla but what I received was lip butter with organic vanilla flavor. I understand that “natural flavor” is the normal practice these days but it lacks integrity and I don’t appreciate being misled.

It is true that in the world of sustainable sourcing that sometimes an ingredient ceases to exist, whether it be an effect of the weather or the suppliers themselves. While the new vanilla does show as a "flavor", this is merely due to how the supplier provides it to us, with it also being a food grade ingredient, and we cannot alter the verbiage. The "flavor" is actually an oil, just as it has always been. Nothing synthetic and never will be. :)
