The Garden

The Garden

For more than 25 years, we’ve carried a dream of creating a place where our philosophy could be fully experienced, a sanctuary where the evanhealy facial is experienced as it was always meant to be: relational, sensory, and deeply restorative.

For years, we imagined this space somewhere else.

And then we realized: it was already here. It already exists within our products.

Each formulation is, quite literally, a convergence of regenerative gardens from around the world: plants grown in living soil, tended by stewards, gathered with care, and brought forward in relationship. When these botanicals meet water, oil, and skin, something subtle opens. The ordinary becomes ritual. The body remembers its belonging to a living world.

To use these products is to enter the Garden.

A regenerative journey

Our work has always been rooted in regeneration, not as a concept, but as a practice shaped over decades.

We work with land stewards who understand soil as a living system, alive with its own microbiome. In this way, soil and skin reflect one another: both depend on diversity, balance, and vitality to thrive.

This long-held commitment is now formally recognized through evanhealy’s Regenerative Organic Certified® (ROC) Licensed status, a milestone that reflects years of partnership, learning, and devotion to land, people, and future generations.

The Garden is the poetic expression of this worldview: what is tended in soil is ultimately felt in the skin. Our skincare begins in the garden, in living soil, long before it reaches the bottle.

Skin as a living system

At the heart of our work is a simple recognition: skin is alive.

It breathes. It pulses with rhythm, an inhalation and an exhalation. It is composed of intricate pathways that regulate air, fluid, heat, and light. When skin is supported, these pathways remain open, allowing for absorption, circulation, and renewal.

The skin’s protective barrier, the acid mantle, is formed through the relationship between water (perspiration) and oil (sebum). When this balance is disrupted, the skin’s natural capacity to protect and restore itself is diminished.

Our approach is simple: the skin is best supported by using botanical oils, plant waters, butters, and clays, which work in synergy and mimic the hydrolipid barrier. This philosophy is most fully realized in the hands of a holistic esthetician trained in our philosophy. These are rituals shaped by presence, intuition, and care. Each step honors the skin’s intelligence. The experience is not about correction, but collaboration with the body’s natural rhythms, and is deeply restorative, not only for the skin, but for the nervous system.

A garden within the city

From the parking lot of our Carlsbad headquarters, you step into a space shaped by plants, light, and imagination. Not an escape from the city, but another way of being within it. This is intentional. The Garden is a reminder that transformation doesn’t require departure, only attention.

A home for learning, gathering, and discovery

For decades, holistic estheticians around the world have brought evanhealy into their treatment rooms. This space now gathers them back together for trainings, seasonal rituals, workshops, and shared learning.

It is a living classroom, where skin, soil, and stewardship are understood as one continuum.

This spirit extends into our retail space.

Our Garden shop holds the full evanhealy collection, alongside a curated selection of offerings found only here. Sourced from our steward farmers and trusted partners, these botanicals, seasonal harvests, and limited releases carry forward the deeper story of land and the people who tend it.

Some things are meant to be discovered face to face.
