In Hindu tradition is it believed that Tulsi is a goddess embodied in an herb, and is revered as the holiest of all plants.
Our Ancient Tulsi HydroSoul, artisan distilled in copper for the hydrosol alone, is an exceptionally active, protective 'water'. Its fragrance enlivens the emotions, bringing conscious awareness into the mind. In a word: it awakens. In the wisdom of Ayurveda, Tulsi (Ocimum sanctum) exhibits anti-oxidant, purifying, awakening, grounding benefits to skin, respiratory passages and psyche.
The fragrance of our Tulsi Facial Tonic HydroSoul is stimulating and awakening; it is spicy, slightly clove-like (it's the eugenol), and you might notice a very faint, sheer tinge of a pinky-copper color which is from being distilled in copper. This plant is not to be confused with basil linalol, Ocimum basilicum, Tulsi's more sweet-scented healing comrade. Both have superb energizing and restorative attributes.
Frequently misting has an exceptional action, helping to cleanse, rejuvenate and purify blemished skin, and decongest clogged pores.

How to Use
For maximum hydration, saturate skin with HydroSoul: five to seven full sprays. With clean hands, press completely into skin. To help restore the protective hydro-lipid balance of the skin, follow Facial Tonic with two pumps of one of our silky oil Serums: Argan, Neem Immortelle, Rosehip, or Pomegranate. For added protection, add a finger-full of one of our Day Moisturizers or Whipped Shea Butters over our Serum. Facial Tonics can be used liberally all day long to tone, hydrate, and refresh.

I finally decided to try this in the mini size. It is sweet & peppery & smells divine. I pair it with the Irish Sea Moss & it is a nice combination. My go-to hydrosols are lavender & immortelle (I have rosacea) but I will rotate this one in. Give it a try 😉
