What led you to evanhealy?

Having lived most of my career in the holistic space, I saw over and over again brands that wanted to capitalize on the notion of clean and non toxic skincare but were heavily greenwashed.  evanhealy was the brand that absolutely stood out in the clean beauty and organic space, but moreover they chose their ingredients with absolute integrity and intention. It was about more than using ingredients that were not harmful. It was about using ingredients that were helpful in restoring the skin’s balance and were grown in a way that honors the earth.

What is your favorite evanhealy product(s) and why?

Is it fair to say all of them? I guess not. I live for Frankincense, Tulsi and Lavender HydroSoul. They are all uniquely special and I haven’t found another single ingredient product that does more for the skin than a good dousing of HydroSoul. 

What inspires you?

Time. The older I get the more experience I have, the less I know- and the more questions I ask. I love collecting skills and putting those together to create something truly unique. Something that that I would have been hard pressed to appreciate in my 20’s.

What is your philosophy on skincare?

Your skin is more than just a pretty face. It is dynamic and alive and possibly our greatest messenger. Truly healthy skin does not need a lot in order to emit a radiance that can not be duplicated with makeup. Less is more, so make what you do use count.
