Our Lavender Facial Tonic Hydrosol is sourced from a few small, organic farms. It is distilled solely for its hydrophilic (water-loving) components, not the essential oil. Distillers of essential oils usually use plant material that has been dried over several days, resulting in a loss of approximately 70% of water volume. We choose to distill for the hydrosol alone and use only fresh plant material. In this way the resulting hydrosol is much richer in the valuable, water-soluble aromatic molecules. Furthermore, these hydrosols are artisan-distilled at low temperatures for over two to three hours. Conventional distillation utilizes high temperatures, and the process lasts for only thirty to forty-five minutes. The more labor-intensive artisan process that we choose to use creates a hydrosol that is vitalizing and healing for all skin conditions.
Pure plant hydrosols are some of nature's best antioxidants. They play an important role in protecting the skin from free radicals and pollution. Saturating the skin daily with these precious waters restores pH balance, refreshes and tones skin tissue, maintaining soft and smooth skin while significantly increasing vitality and hydration to all skin conditions.

How to Use
Mist face with 5-10 sprays of hydrosol & press onto skin. Facial tonic hydrosols can be used throughout the day to tone, hydrate & refresh.
As a gentle morning cleanser, simply saturate skin & pat dry with a clean cloth.
For optimal hydration & moisture, combine with one of our oil serums and/or moisturizers. Mist face with 5-10 sprays of hydrosol. In palms of hands, mix dime-sized amount of oil serum and/or a finger-full of moisturizer with 5-10 more sprays of hydrosol. Gently press mixture onto skin. Finishing with a misting of hydrosol.

I love this when I am traveling. I find I need a boost to my skincare routine for whatever reason my skins acts different on a trip, and this helps combat that. (Either the exhaustion or the bacteria in the air.) This hydrosoul nourishes my skin. I use this before moisturizing.

Beautiful, mindful packaging with refill options to keep waste minimal is always an exemplary choice by companies. The lavender hydrosoul is my first from evanhealy and was chosen to pair with the lavender milk cleanser for its calming, sensitive skin friendly benefits, although I wished they had my preference, sandalwood, at my local Whole Foods. I definitely smell lavender, but there’s also a lightly sour sort of dairy aroma, similar to lavender latte. It’s not terrible, but I’m not a huge lavender connoisseur, as it happens. I’ve been using after the lavender milk cleanse at night, mixing mine with the cactus beauty elixir, or sprayed as my am cleanser before the sea moss & tremella + cactus beauty elixir. No irritation so far after days and my face looks calm, more uniform and clear. Fingers crossed my new routine is healing and long term.

This is not the first time that I have purchased the Evan Healy Hydro soul products. They are magical! This was just what my daughter needed to complete her emergency skin care routine that included the green clay mask and a hydrating moisturizer. This routine once or twice a week did the trick to get her skin back to being beautiful.
